- Mrs. Clarence Yaeck, 93 DeKay St., died Friday at K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 66.
Born in Ellice Township, May 26, 1904, she was the former Vera Lichty, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Lichty. She lived in the Twin Cities most of her life and was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband; one son, Howard, Preston; one daughter, Mrs. Norman (Elaine) Snider, North Easthope Township; four brothers, David Lichty, Waterloo, and Emerson, William and Delton, all of Kitchener; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Stevens, Waterloo, Mrs. Mary Marshall, Kitchener and Mrs. Leah Harper, London; and 10 grandchildren.
Three brothers and one sister predeceased her.
The body will be at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Monday at 2: 30 p.m. Rev. Vernon Cronmiller of St. Mark's Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.
