Notes - BATEMAN, Robert (Bob) - Peacefully, at St. Mary's Hospital, on Tuesday, March 23, 1993, Bob Bateman, of Kitchener, age 53 years. Beloved husband of Billie (Crystal); loving father of Brett and his wife Alfreda of Waterloo, Brian and his wife Dianne of Kitchener and loving grandfather of Breanne. Dear son of Sally Hyndman and her husband Keith of Southampton, special son-in-law of Gertie Crystal of Kitchener. Brother of Mel, Douglas, Mabel and her husband Ed Shea, all of Cambridge, Bramwell of Brantford, Edward (Ted) of Guelph and Sally and her husband Ross Main of Windsor. Sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Lovingly remembered by many friends. He was predeceased by a son, Shane; his father, Bramwell Bateman and father-in-law, William (Bill) Crystal. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Thursday from 204 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11 am with Rev. James Rees officiating. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, St. Mary's Hospital or VON Home care would be gratefully acknowledged.
