Sherwood Ewald
Sherwood John Ewald of 293 Albert St., Waterloo, died Wednesday at K-W Hospital following a brief illness. He was 76.
Born in Wiarton, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Ewald, he lived in Waterloo most of his life. He was employed by Canadian Pacific Railway as a freight agent for 27 years and by Blue Top Brewery Ltd. as a sales manager.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and active in the Commercial Travellers Association.
He is survived by his wife, the former Alberta Dotzert, whom he married in Waterloo in 1917; two sons, Waldon of Scarborough and John of Willowdale; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Betty) Watson of North Surrey, B.C., and Mrs. Ross (Marlene) Snider of Mississauga, and 11 grandchildren.
The body will be at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, Waterloo, until noon Saturday when removal will be made to the church where Rev. Marvyn Dubrick will conduct the service at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Memory Gardens.
Donations to St. John's Lutheran Church building fund will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.
