- JOSEPH AMLINGER
An illness of four years terminated on Sunday when Joseph Amlinger, 21 Park Ave,. Elmira, died at his late residence. Deceased was 73, and was born March 26, 1871. He attended St. Theresa R. C. Church, Elmira, was a member of the Altar Society of that Church and an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus. Surviving are his wife, nee Mary Boissoin; two sons, Norman at home and Leander of Wilmington, California; four daughters, Mrs. Harry (Genevieve) Fischer at home, Mrs. William (Virginia) Zinger of Elmira, Mrs. Harold (Catherine) Murphy of Galt and Mrs. Lawrence (Veronica) Franklin of Galt; one sister, Mrs. Philip (Martina) Schweitzer of Waterloo and 16 grandchildren. The remain rested at his late residence until Wednesday at 10 a.m., when service was held at St. Theresa Church.
