  Cairns, Derek McIntyre: Surrounded by his loving family, Derek passed away peacefully, to be with his Lord, at his home on Monday, December 5, 2011 at the age of 64. He will be dearly missed by his wife Judy and their children and spouses, Chris (Selena), Ben (Julie) and Jennifer (Greg) and his precious grandchildren, Sierra, Kameron, Jada, Avery, Carson, Ellie and Noah. Brother of Ian (Gloria) Cairns and Elaine (James) Ross. The Cairns family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Wednesday December 7, 2011 from 7-9pm and Thursday, December 8, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A service of celebration of Derek's life will be held at Grandview Baptist Church, 250 Old Chicopee Dr. Kitchener on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 11am. Rev. Doug Martin and Rev. Bud Penner officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Grandview Baptist Church for the Uganda Project Sonrise Baby Home or Partners International would be greatly appreciated by the family.
