Notes |
- n 1921 if you visited 30 William Street you would have entered the home of Albert Preece. Alberta also worked at Globe Furniture for 59 years. Today if you enter 30 William street, you will find Dan McCowan hard at work in the Kitchen. Dan spent most of his life in Waterloo Region and for a short while he also lived upstairs in the Red House. Dan's cooking inspiration comes from international cuisines and a strong connection to his Guyanese roots which you can see in his West Indies dishes. You can take his 'from-scratch' cooking, or 'house-made' as they prefer to call it, cooking home by placing your take-out order for hot meals or pick from their ever-growing collections of frozen entrées.
