Life long member of the CWL and St. Agatha Parish Church.
Peacefully in Waterloo, on Sunday, April 13, 2014, in her 97th year. Anna Mary Ditner, beloved wife of 56 years, to the late Lorne Cecil Kennedy. Daughter of the late Simon and Christina (Ruth) Ditner. Loved mother of Maryanne (Mrs. Theodore Dietrich) of Kitchener, Bernadette (Mrs. Stanley Mayer) of New Dundee, Christina (Mrs. Bruce Humphrey) of Toronto and Rosemary (Mrs. John Shantz) of Waterloo. Predeceased by her infant daughter Anna. Loving grandmother of Kevin Dietrich, Charlene (Mrs. David Illsley), Corinne (Mrs. Shea Laking), Christopher (Kendra) Mayer, Adam, Jacquelyn, Courtney Humphrey, Ryan and Craig Shantz; and great-grandmother of Sydney and Taylor Illsley, Isabella and Mackenzie Laking, as well as Justin Arnott, Payton and Easton Mayer. Dear sister of Edna, Sister Ruth Ditner and the late Rosalia (Mrs. Harry Knipfel), Walter, Clarence, Simon, Hubert and Stanley Ditner. Fond sister-in-law of Theresa (Mrs. Simon Ditner). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. We would like to thank the staff at Parkwood Mennonite Home for their wonderful care and attention to Anna during her final years.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the ERB & GOOD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 171 King Street South, Waterloo from 2: 00 \endash 4: 00 p.m. and 7: 00 \endash 9: 00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rosary to be said at 8: 45 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday in ST. AGATHA PARISH CHURCH, 1839 Notre Dame Drive, St. Agatha (N0B 2L0) at 11: 00 a.m. A private family interment will be held at a later date in St. Agatha Cemetery. All friends and relatives are invited to a reception in the Parish Hall following the service.
