- MILKER, Agnes (nee Blaney) - With her family at her side, Agnes Hilker. passed away, on Thursday, Dec. 30. 1999, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, in her 70th year. Cherished mother of Patricia and Jim Stone of British Columbia, Diane Meere of Cambridge. Ron and Andrea Hilker of Waterloo, Heather and Wayne Barnard of Kitchener; loving grandma of Suzanne and Jonathan Stone, John, Jim and Deanna Meere, Nathan and Renee Hilker, Lianna and Melanie Barnard; special great-grandmother of Dionne, Logan, Chloe, Colton and Cailey Meere. She leaves to mourn, her best friend and loving com-panion, Armand Schaefer; sisters, Jean Houghton and Dorothy Otterbe in.
Predeceased by her husband, Charles Anthony Hilker in 1973; two brothers, Fred and Joe Blaney. Agnes was employed by the New Apostolic Church for over 20 years and was enjoying her retirement the last five years playing horseshoes at Breithaupt and Bridgeport Rod and Gun and curling at the Granite Club when not at her trailer in Hayfield. Friends and relatives may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral and committal services will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre.
