      BIG RAPIDS, Jan. 21 (P) -Aaron Amon, former state senator and representative, who was called the "father of consolidated schools in Michigan," died at his home in Remus today. He was 74 years old. Mr. Amon served in the legislature from 1915 until 1922.

      He was president of the Remus State bank and was connected with bank: in Six Lakes, Blanchard, and Evart. The funeral will be at Remus Monday.
