- Kehn, Donald F. - At St. Mary's Hospital, on Friday, April 24, 1987, after a lengthy illness, Donald Frederick Kehn, of 49 Bluevale St. S., Waterloo, aged 65 years. He was a member of St. Agnes Church, the Holy Name Society of the church, very active in church activities. He had been employed as customer relations manager for Electrohome until his retirement in October of last year. He was employed with Electrohome Limited for 42 years. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club of Electrohome. He was a member of the Waterloo Knights of Colombus. He was a member of the Cursillo Movement for Hamilton Diocese. He had served with the Royal Canadian Navy for four years, achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer, during the Second World War. Husband of the former Ethel Sommers, father of Thomas and his wife Pat, Alan and his wife Maryann and Donna (Mrs. Ron Reist) all of Waterloo, Joanne (Mrs. John Hearth) and Cheryl (Mrs. Jeff Soltysiak), both of Kitchener, Carolyn at home; brother of Richard and James, both of Kitchener and David of Waterloo. Eleven grandchildren also survive. Predeceased by his parents, Frederick Kehn and the former Irma Kropf, one son, Raymond, in infancy. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., after 7 p.m. Saturday, where the parish prayers will be recited on Sunday at 4 p.m. The Knights of Colombus Scripture Service will be held on Sunday evening at 8 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Monday at 9: 30, followed by a funeral mass at St. Agnes Church at 10, with Father Theodore Gerharz, SAC, officiating. Internment will be in Parkview cemetery. Donations to St. Mary's Hospital Building Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society may be made as expressions of sympathy.
