  Mrs. Samantha Schiedel Taken to Toronto General Hospital two months ago, where she under-went two operations, Mrs. Samantha Schiedel of Breslau, passed away there on Jan, 30 in her 66th year. Mrs. Schiedel was the relict of the late Jacob M. Schiedel, who passed a was 15 years ago. She was born at Shantz Station, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Abram C. Shantz and attended the Breslau M.B.C. Mennonite Church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Orville H. Mader, Breslau, two sons, Roy and Nelson, Breslau, and 19 grandchildren. Four brothers, Nelson and Irvine Shantz, Kitchener, Joseph and Abram, Breslau, and four sisters, Mrs. John Shiry, Kitchener, Mrs. Joel Gole, Richan, Ont., Mrs. Daniel Brox, Spruce Grove, Alta., and Mrs. Peter Martin, R.R. 3, Kitchener, also survive. The funeral was held Sunday from the home at 2 o'clock and thence to Cressman Mennonite Church followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. The Waterloo Chronicle 6 Feb 1936 pg 5
