Notes - MEYER, JIM - At 22 years of age, died suddenly on Friday, March 21, 2008, as the result of injuries from an accidental fall. Jim, the father of 15 month old Izabella, was the son of the late Judy Meyer (2003) and Frank Meyer of Kitchener. He is lovingly cherished and remembered by his sister, Katie and her boyfriend Steve McCrae; brother, Bill, his wife Samantha and their sons Jordan, Kyle and Andrew; sister, Francine and her husband Carlos Leal; brother, Tony; his maternal grandmother, Inez Garibaldi; and Frank's wife Lillian; all from Kitchener. Jim was completing courses at Seneca College as he was working towards his dream of being a firefighter. He will be remembered as a very sensitive, emotional, enthusiastic, competitive, sports loving kid and young man by his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends as he touched the lives of many. Jimmy's generous heart, intellectual conversations and ability to entertain could make you laugh and smile and will be sorrowfully missed by all. Respects may be offered at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, between 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. Parish prayers 8: 30 p.m. Wednesday evening. Please note change of funeral time. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony Daniel RC Church, 29 Midland Dr., Kitchener on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 10: 30 a.m. led by Father Earl Talbot. Following the Funeral Mass, a luncheon will be served in the reception room of the funeral home. Jim has been embraced by his mother's loving arms in Heaven and will be buried with her in Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
