    • SCHAEFER, Mrs. Edven (Melissa) -- On Sunday, November 20, 1977, at St. Raphael's Nursing Home, Melissa Snider, age 98 years, of Breslau. Mother of Vera (Mrs. Albert Blake) of Breslau, Laura Schaefer of Breslau, Bertha (Mrs. Harold Seibel) of Kitchener, Clarence of Ayr, Clayton and Kenneth, both of Kitchener. Also survived by 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Edven, in 1960; a son, Lorne; one sister, seven brothers, her father Isaac Snider and her mother the former Nancy Sittler, She attended Breslau Missionary Church. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener. Funeral service in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel Tuesday, 3 p.m. Interment in Breslau Mennonite Cemetery. Rev. E. R. Sparks will officiate.
