  KESSIG, Desmond Louis - Following a lengthy illness, at Maryhill Extended Care Centre. Maryhill, on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1990. age 86 years. Born in Waterloo. He was retired from Mutual Life after 25 years service. A member of St. Louis RC Church, participated in the church choir, belonged to the Holy Name Society and the Waterloo Musical Society Band. Beloved husband of Edna (nee Zettell; dear father of Wayne and his wife Carol of Kitchener and Pat and her husband Nick Zakutin of Breslau; brother of Vern of Welland. Survived by four grandchildren, Dan and Rosemarie Kessig and Kathryn and Dave Zakutin. Predeceased by his parents, Louis and Mary Kessig and a sister, Corinne. Mr. Kessig's family will receive friends at the Edward R Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Water-loo, today (Wednesday), 7-9 p.m. and Thursday. 2-4 and 7.9 p.m. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Friday at 9:30 a.m., with funeral mass to follow at St. Louis RC Church on Friday at 10 a.m., Father Peter Pigott officiating. Interment Mount Hope cemetery, Waterloo. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Waterloo Regional Lung Association or the Bolivian Missions, greatly appreciated.
