- Mrs. Stanley Jackson, well-known Hespeler resident for many years, suddenly, at her residence at Puslinch Lake, on Friday evening, February 23, 1968. Native of Coldwater, ON, she lived in Dundas before coming to Hespeler. She assisted her husband in the operation of Jackson's Drug Store, until their retirement three years ago, when they made their home at Puslinch Lake. Mrs. Jackson was instrumental in the organization of the Rose of Sharon Chapter of the Eastern Star in Hespeler and was the first worthy matron. She was also a member of the Iris Rebekah Lodge, the Ladies Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion and was active in the work of the Presbyterian women of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Hespeler. Surviving is her husband, a step-daughter, Janet (Mrs. James Quick) of Kitchener and four step- grandchildren. Service at the Nelson Funeral Home, 23 Galt St. , Hespeler on Monday at 2. Officiating were Rev. Wallace Little of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Hespeler and Rev. Stanley Gentle of St. Columba Presbyterian Church in Belleville, formerly of St. Andrew's. Pallbearers: Dave Panabaker, Sam Inglis, Harry Franks, George Quick, Percy Harvey and Gordon Klager. Interment Hespeler Cemetery.
