- Clarence Kehn - The former operator of the service station at the corner of Frederick and Edna Streets, Clarence Kehn, 58, of 53 Joseph St., died Thursday at Coutts Pavilion after a lingering illness.
Born in Kitchener, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Julius Kehn. He was a shoe-cutter with several firms until 1940 when he acquired the service station. He retired in 1951.
Mr. Kehn was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are one son, Gerald of Elkton, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (June) Young of Kinde, Mich., and Mrs. Dale (Joyce) Matthews of Westhill; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Musselman and Mrs. Gertrude Young, both of Kitchener, and eight grandchildren. Two brothers and one sister predeceased him.
The body is at the Schreiter Sandrock Funeral Home where the service will be conducted Saturday at 3 pm by Rev. Dr. H.W. Opperman. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran cemetery.
