Charles M Kuntze died Thursday at K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 81.
Born in New Hamburg Aug. 25, 1889, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kuntze. He was a member of Zion United Church, here.
He was predeceased in 1965 by his wife, the former Margaretha Hahn whom he married Sept. 1, 1915. Three brothers and two sisters also predeceased him
Surviving are one son, Eugene of Elmira; two brothers, Menno of Detroit and Leslie of Kitchener; four sisters, Mrs. Rosetta Murray of Kitchener, Mrs. Adeline Binkle and Mrs. Matilda Laschinger, both of New Hamburg, and Mrs. Lucinda Duncan of Baden and one grand-daughter.
Funeral service was held at Zion United Church in Elmira on Sunday. Rev. M.E. Reuber officiated. Burial took place in the Elmira cemetery.
