      ELMIRA Jacob Saddler. 82, of 18 Centre St., Elmira, died Monday at K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness.

      Born Oct. 22, 1882, in Ayton, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Saddler. He was employed at the Elmira Furniture Co. until his retirement in 1955.

      He was a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church, Elmira.

      Surviving are his wife, the former Emma Ritz, whom he married in New. Hamburg in 1912; two sons, Louis of Niag ara Falls, and Merner of Tor onto; three daughters, Mrs. Harry (Doris) Ritter, RR 2 West Montrose, Mrs. Laudvell (Norma) Bolender, RR 2, Drayton, and Mrs. William (June) Shipley of Elmira, 12 grandchil dren and seven great-grandchildren.

      A sister and six brothers predeceased him.

      The body is at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, where the funeral will be conducted in the chapel Thursday at 3 pm. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery, Kitchener. Rev. Dayton Fritz will officiate.
