  Elmira Resident For Twenty Years Mr. Adam Hoelscher Stricken at Home on William Street; Funeral Held Today The death of Mr. Adam Hoelscher occurred at his home on William street on Tuesday last in his 76th year. The funeral took place today (Thursday) from his home to St. James's Lutheran church and then to St. James's cemetery. Born in Germany, the late Mr. Hoelscher came to this country in early manhood and settled in Tavistock where he resided until coming to Elmira about 20 years ago. He is survived by two sons, Henry and John, and four daughters, Mrs. Henry Conrad, Mrs. E. Miller, Mrs. Henry Soehner and Mrs. W. Pommer. Mr. John Hoelscher of Elmira is a brother.
