  STROKE WAS FATAL TO MRS. HOELSCHER ESTEEMED ELMIRA WOMAN DIES AFTER ONLY THREE DAYS OF ILLNESS After only three days illness due to a stroke, the Grim Reaper claimed Mrs. Adam Hoelscher last Tuesday evening at seven o'clock. Mrs. Hoelscher had enjoyed her usual good health until she was suddenly stricken, but she never recovered consciousness after the stroke. She was fifty-seven years of age. Her maiden name was Margaret Rosenberg. She was born in Germany and came to Canada as a young girl in 1886. She settled in Tavistock and resided there until her marriage with Mr. Hoelscher, when they settled in Elmira where she has ever since lived. The funeral will take place on Friday afternoon from her late residence on William Street to St. James Lutheran Church, thence to St. James Cemetery for interment. The late Mrs. Hoelscher is survived by her husband, two sons and four daughters, as follows: Henry and John, of Elmira, Mrs. Henry Soehner of Elmira, Mrs. Weldon Pammer, of Linwood, Mrs. Henry Conrad of Elmira, and Mrs. Ed. Miller of Kitchener. One brother, Mr. John Rosenberg, of Saginaw, Michigan, is also left.
