  LICHTENHELDT, Dr. John Emil -- Of 19 Boullee St., New Hamburg, died on Friday, Feb. 13, 1981, at his home, aged 66 years. He was born in Germany where he received his Dr. Med. at the University of Leipzig in 1944. He received his MD for Canada at McGill University in 1955 and moved to New Hamburg in May 1956 where he was successor to Dr. Feick's medical practice. He practiced there until October 1980. Son of the late Ernst Lichtenheldt and the former Martha Junghanns. With special love he is remembered by his wife, the former Claire Elizabeth Mariejose Matthys, who he married September 10, 1941; daughter, Carmen and her husband Donald Mowat, of Kitchener; son, Bernd- Andre and his wife, Julianne; two grandsons, Drew and Christopher Lichtenheldt of Waterloo; two sisters, Mrs. Maria Kuehn of West Germany, and Mrs. Dora Bachmann of East Germany.
