    • Cecil Ennis Passes - The death occurred in hospital at Spruce Grove, Alta., on Thursday of Cecil Ennis, in his 71st year. Mr. Ennis had been in ill health for some time. He was born in Ayr, in the residence now owned by William O. Ball, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Ennis. After attending school here he moved west where he eventually became a grain buyer for elevators, retiring about three years ago. Mr. Ennis served in the Canadian Army overseas in World War 1. He was a member of the United Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Sheila Lux of Spruce Grove, Alta., Emily of Sletter, Alta., a son Russell Ennis of Calgary Alta., three brothers, John of Ayr, Robert of Toronto and Alfred of Oshawa, and a sister, Mrs. Ian Gillette (Lily) of Oshawa. The funeral was held on Monday at Spruce Grove, with Interment in that town.
