  Foster Kilgour Passes Foster Kilgour of 209 Herbert St., Waterloo, died Friday at his home after a brief illness. He was 67. Born in Ayr, he was associated with Waterloo Grocery, now Cook's Superette, Herbert and Union Sts., for 23 years. He was affiliated with First Baptist Church, Waterloo. During the 1920's, he was a violinist at silent movies and founded and conducted the Simcoe concert orchestra. He was a member of the highland Light Infantry Band of Galt. He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thompson Kilgour, and a brother, Charles. Surviving are his wife, the former Grace Elizabeth Williams; a son, Keith of Mount Forest; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Eleanor. Beckett of Port Colbourne; two brothers, Bud and Lloyd, both of New Hamburg; a sister, Mrs. George (Evelyn) Bowman of Acton, and five grandchildren. Predeceased by a brother, Lloyd. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. R. E. Robinson from the R. Good Funeral Home, Waterloo, on Monday. Burial in Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News Jun 18 1970 pg 9
