  Mrs. John Nearingburg Another of Ayr's oldest residents passed to her reward on Tuesday afternoon in the person of Mrs. John Nearingburg. She had been in failing health for some time and her death was not unexpected. Deceased was born in London, England, 77 years ago, and came to Ayr with her husband in 1905. She was a valued member of Christ Church and for many years assisted in the Sunday School. She was much esteemed by many friends for her kindly and congenial disposition, and she will be greatly missed. Besides her sorrowing husband, she is survived by one son, Henry, of Galt. The funeral took place from Christ Church to the Ayr Cemetery yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon. The Ayr News Aug 11 1932 pg 10
