- Annie Richmond - The death occurred in Galt on Friday of Miss Annie Richmond, a former resident of Ayr. Miss Richmond had resided in Galt for the past 29 years. She was born on the Richmond homestead, South Dumfries, now occupied by J. A. Gillespie, being a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Richmond. Surviving are two sisters, Misses Elizabeth and Isabella, Galt, and two brothers, William Richmond of Vancouver, B.C., and James Richmond, Victoria, B.C. The funeral took place on Monday afternoon from the T. Little and Son Funeral Home, Galt, to the Ayr Cemetery. The services were conducted by Rev. Dr. M. B. Davidson, pastor of Central Presbyterian Church, Galt, and there were many beautiful floral tributes. The pallbearers were: John Easton, Thomas Easton, J. Albert Gillespie and John A. Manson, Ayr; W. A. Gilchrist and G. W. Webster, Galt.
