  McLEOD, James Alex Passed away on Monday, November 10, 1986, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Alex McLeod of 43 Myrtle Avenue, Cambridge in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Elspet Harrison and dear brother of Mrs. Agnes Tomblin of Paris, Mrs. Janet (Jean) Harrison and Alice (Mrs. Jim Runstedler) both of Cambridge. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. McLeod was predeceased by two brothers, William and Donald. Born in St. George, Ontario on January 20, 1905 and has been a resident of Cambridge, since 1976. Formerly of Ayr. Retired caretaker of the Ayr Cemetery. Former fire chief of Ayr and a mail carrier, for 31 years. Resting at Courts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, where the family will receive friends, on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral and Committal Services, will be held from the funeral home chapel, on Wednesday November 12, at 1: 30. Interment Ayr Cemetery. Cambridge Reporter 1986
