- Charles Sheriff, 68, of Kitchener, died Tuesday at Westminster Hospital, London, Ont., after a lengthy illness.
He had been an employee of Wunder Furniture Manufacturing Company, Ltd. He was a veteran of the First World War.
Mr. Sheriff was born at Meaford, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Sheriff,
Surviving are two sons, Earl of Windsor and Donald of Hamilton; one daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Wilma) Schaefer of Kitchener, and one brother, Edward of London. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Margaret Meyer, and also by his second wife, the former Louise Sixtus.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home. Rev. A. W. Dillistone will conduct the service. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home until the service.
