• Notes

  The remains of the late Claude Forsythe were brought here last Saturday and interment took place in Riverside Cemetery. He was found dead in the garage at his home in Toronto and his death was caused by monoxyde gas fumes from his auto while he had the engine running. The deceased was about 35 years of age and was a son-in-law of the late Jacob Wilhelm. He was well known in this community having resided on a farm about two miles west of New Hamburg before moving to Toronto. The service was conducted by Rev. Pletch and Rev. Dale, of the Evangelical and Baptist churches here. He leaves his sorrowing widow, who before her marriage was Miss Emma Wilhelm, and two daughters to mourn his sudden and untimely death.
