    • Died At Calgary

It was with deep regret that the news was received here announcing the death of Mr. John A. Witwer, who died in the Calgary hospital on Wednesday. He had been ill for several months The deceased was a son of Mr. John Witwer and the late Mrs. Witwer and was born on the Witwer homestead on the Gravel Road and spent his boyhood days in that community. He was married to Miss Mary Wicker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Weicker, of this town. Mr. and Mrs. Witwer spent several months here last summer when he appeared to be in the best of health and the news of his passing caused surprise and deep regret among his friends in town. The deceased was about 45 years of age and had resided in the west for the past 25 years. Besides his sorrowing widow, he leaves his aged father, one sister, Mrs. N. B. Good, of Kitchener, and three brothers, Jacob, David and Daniel Witwer, all in the West. The funeral will likely be held at his home at Acme, Alberta.
