- Death of Mrs. Joseph Stere
The death took place at her home in East Zorra on Wednesday of Mrs. Joseph Stere at the age of 24 years, 5 months and 1 day. She had been in failing health for some time, but was seriously ill only for several weeks. Her untimely death is deeply regretted by her many friends. The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Saddler and was born in Michigan. She was married to her now bereaved husband in 1923 and had since resided in this vicinity. Besides her husband she leaves two small children, son and daughter, one brother, Menno Saddler, of Kitchener, and one sister, Mrs. Clifford Cross, of Preston. The funeral will be held on Saturday to the A.-M. church on the 16th line of East Zorra, followed by interment in the 19th line cemetery. The sympathy of their many friends goes out to the bereaved one in their sad loss.
