  It was a terrible shock our villagers and the district around for many miles got when they heard of the death of Mrs. T. J. Murdock, wife of Rev. T. J. Murdock. Mrs. Murdock after lying in an unconscious condition from last Thursday owing to paralysis of the brain passed away at an early hour on Monday morning. The funeral took place at 10 o'clock on Wednesday morning from the Presbyterian church, from there they will motor to Toronto where interment will take place. We all sympathize with Mr. Murdock in his deep sorrow. New Hamburg Independent, May 30, 1930 ________________ The funeral of the late Mrs. T. J. Murdock took place on Wednesday at 10 a.m. from her late residence to the Presbyterian church where services were held by the following Ministers: Rev. Miller, Rev. Rowland, Rev. Kirkland, Rev. West. After which they motored to Toronto where interment took place in Greenwood cemetery. Quite a number motoring from here showed their deep respect for the bereaved husband. The pall bearers were: John, George, George McCallum, Harry Herold, Joe Richardson, Jas. Innis and Archie McMillan. Thy will be done. New Hamburg Independent, June 6, 1930
