- George Helm
The funeral of the late George Helm who died an the result of an accident at Walkerton on Friday when the car in which he was riding collided with a train was held from the Schreiter Funeral home, Kitchener, on Sunday and was hugely attended. Mr. Helm resided in Kitchener previous to his residence in Walkerton. The members of the Odd Fellows lodge of Walkerton attended in a body and exemplified their burial ritual at Woodland cemetery.
Mr. Helm who was a district manager for the Massey-Harris Company, was of the Presbyterian faith and a member of the I.O.O. F. He was 40 years of age. His mother, Mrs. H. W. Kalbfleisch and stepfather and wife survives. One daughter and three sisters, Mrs. D. E. Milne of Vancouver, B.C., Mrs. N. Murray, Auburn, Ont., Mrs. C. W. Schaefer, Beamsville, and Miss Eleda Helm, of Toronto, also survive.
