- Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, July 17, 2015 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, at the age of 94 1/2. Reginald was formerly of Lakeview Drive, Waterloo.
Survived by his loving wife Elizabeth residing at Craigweil Gardens Resthome, Ailsa Craig, Ontario.
Predeceased by his brothers Raymond and Frank and sister Winnifred Newnham.
In the 1950's, Reg worked as a tool and die maker for Avro Aircraft Ltd. in Toronto which constructed the CF-100 fighter, the first straight-winged aircraft to break the sound barrier. Reg was also part of constructing the first runway at Pearson International Airport. Following that, he worked for 25 years as a tool and die maker for Allen Bradley in Cambridge.
Cremation has taken place.
