    • Rickert, Harvey - At his home, 247 Franklin St. N., on Monday, Dec. 16, 1974, after a lengthy illness, Harvey Rickert, age 88 years. Mr. Rickert was born in Mannheim, a son of the late Cyrus Rickert and the former Lovina Shantz. He had resided in New York, Detroit and Chicago and returned to Kitchener in 1945, a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church and formerly employed at the National Tubular Products Ltd. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.

      Surviving are a son Lorne Rickert of Salisbury, Md.; two daughters, Matilda (Mrs. Earl Litt) of Windsor and Elaine (Mrs. Ivan Mohr) of New Hamburg; two brothers Sydney of Windsor and Lloyd Rickert of Kitchener; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive; predeceased by two brothers Ervin and Addison and by one sister Mrs. Clara Woods.

      Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener. Funeral service in the chapel Thursday at 1 pm with Rev. F.W. Zinck officiating. Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery.
