      Amos Shantz

      Kitchener -
      Funeral services were held here Wednesday afternoon for Amos Shantz, 74, of 61 Hohner Ave., who died Saturday afternoon at Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital following a lengthy illness.

      Mr. Shantz was born in Wilmot Township on April 29, 1865, and married Clara E. Giller on March 22, 1887, in Kitchener. He attended Zion Evangelical Church.

      Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Leslie F. Shantz, at home, a brother, Jacob Shantz of Plattsville, two sisters, a twin, Mrs. Nathaniel Wildfong of Hespeler and Mrs. Melinda Shantz of Kitchener.
