      MRS. ISRAEL BRUBACHER

      Mrs. Israel Brubacher died early Thursday morning at Elmira Private Hospital following a lingering illness. Born in Woolwich Township April 6, 1893, she was 54 years old. She lived in Peel Township 28 years. Mrs. Brubacher was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tilman Martin of Waterloo Township.


      She is survived by her husband, three sons and four daughters: Melvin, 4th line of Peel; Edwin at home, and Clayton, near Elmira; Mrs. Adon (Naomi) Eby, Yatton; Elsie, Saleda, and Alice, at home.


      Four brothers also survive. They are Edwin Martin, third line of Peel; Allan, Floradale; Ananias, Waterloo, and Tilman, 6th line of Peel. There are three sisters, Mrs. Ezra Bauman, Hawkesville; Mrs. Isaac Bauman, 4th line of Peel and Mrs. Urias Bauman, Elmira. There are also two grand-children. Two daughters died in in-fancy.


      The funeral was held Saturday, at 9 a.m. standard time, at the late residence, then to South Peel Mennonite Church for service. Burial was made in the adjoining cemetery.
