  RHODY, Dorothy H. Passed away peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late, Floyd Rhody (1974). Loving mother of Diane Preston and her husband Michael, Darlene Schaller and her husband Michael of all Kitchener. Also survived by three grandchildren: Michelle Kraemer and her husband Steven of Kitchener, Andrew Preston and his wife Adrienne of Ayr and Kahlee Neugebauer and her husband David of Kitchener and one great-grandson Troy; sister Eleanor Bryce of Kitchener. Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Florence Kremer. Dorothy was born on June 23, 1921, in Preston, Ontario and has been a resident of Cambridge, for all her life. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Member of Crystal Rebekah Lodge #286 Waterloo and Past Noble Grand and a Past District Deputy President of Queen Rebekah Lodge Cambridge. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 20, 2009, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge. The Funeral service will be conducted by pastor Heidi Wachowiak, Saturday, October 31, 2009, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church , 810 King Street, Cambridge, at 1: 00 p.m. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
