  JANTZI, DAVID K. On Saturday, Oct, 22, 1994, at Stratford General Hospital. He resided in Milverton and was born 78 years ago in Wellesley township. He was the son of the late Solomon S. Jantzi and the former Sarah Kuepfer. David was a member of Riverdale Mennonite Church, Millbank, where he was the pastor for over twenty years. He was a self-employed woodworker for over 40 years and was a teacher at the Wahbon Bay Academy. Most recently he was involved in the prison ministry and was an active volunteer in many things throughout his life. Beloved husband of the former Lavina Kuepfer whom he married November 7, 1940. Loving father of Alvin and his wife Doris of Toronto, Paul of Waterloo, Miriam and her husband Dale Bauman of Elmira, Mark and his wife Linda of Milverton, Phil and his wife Bev of Waterloo and Rhoda and her husband Elroy Cober of Ottawa. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Jason, Jeffrey, Kerri, Sara, Rachel, Hannah, Nicholas and James. Dear brother of Joseph and his wife Fannie, and Noah, all of RR 1, Milverton, and Sam of RR 1, Newton. Also remembered by a brother-in-law, Ivan Kuepfer of Millbank. David was predeceased by a sister, Nancy (Mrs. Menno W. Kuepfer) and three brothers in infancy. Family and friends may call at the Riverdale Mennonite Church Milbank, today (Monday) 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and until noon on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 1994 when transfer will be made to Poole Mennonite Church, Poole for the service at 2 p.m., with Pastor Glenn Zehr officiating. Funeral: Oct. 25, Poole Mennonite Church, by Glenn Zehr. Burial: Riverdale Mennonite Church. He was ordained Sept. 7, 1958, and pastored Riverdale Mennonite Church for 24 years.
