  MRS. C. N. KLINCK Nettie Marie Louise Klinck, nee Ruppel, who died Monday, was the widow of the late Charles N. Klinck who predeceased her in 1944. She was born in Elmira, Ontario, on October 24, 1878 and was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Ruppel. She lived her entire life in the town of her birth. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Church, taking an extremely active part in all of its endeavours particularly the ladies' Aid of which she was president for almost twenty years. She was blessed with an outstanding soprano voice which will long be remembered by her family and many friends. She was soloist in the St. Paul's choir for 55 years having sung in this choir from the time she was twelve years old until her health would no longer permit. The untimely death of her husband in 1944 and her son Edward in 1945 contributed to the serious break in her health which necessitated a major operation in 1947 from which she never completely recovered. A severe arthritic condition combined shortly after to bring about a gradual decline which resulted in her death. She was an example and an inspiration to her entire family and large circle of friends and is survived by three children, Laura and Otto of Elmira and Esther, wife of Mr. A. H. Borchardt of Lester Prairie, Minn., with the exception of her sister, Stella, who died in early youth, she is survived by all of her ten brothers and sisters, Percy, Louis, Norman and Lauretta (Mrs. A. Brubacher) of Elmira, Arthur of Kitchener, Lillian (Mrs. M. Herz) of Waterloo, Walter of Preston, Rosetta (Mrs. Rev. O. Lossner) of St. Louis, Mo., Flora (Mrs. B. Schultz) of Decatur, Ind. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted today (Thursday) at 2: 30 pm in St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The body will be removed to the church from the funeral parlor at 1: 30 pm. Elmira Signet 27 Jan 1955
