WEDDING BELLS. - The home of Mr. Geo. Garbig, manager of the flax works here, was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Wednesday last, when his daughter, Minnie, was united to Mr. Martin Shoemaker, of Elmira. At four o'clock in the afternoon the knot was securely tied by the Rev. Mr. Walbaum in the presence of nearly two hundred invited guests. The bride was very prettily attired in cream cashmere. After the ceremony and congratulations were over the entire party sad to a most sumptuous repast after which the evening was given to social enjoyment. The Elmira band, of which Mr. Shoemaker was a member, was in attendance, and by the sweet music rendered added materially to the enjoyment of those present. The many and beautiful presents received by the bride attest to the esteem in which she was held by her many friends bere and elsewhere. Mr. and Mrs. Shoemaker left for their home in Elmira on Monday followed by the good wishes of their friends who wish them every success in their journey through life.
