      After Brief Illness Well Known Townsman Dies From Septic Poisoning

      George Paterson Cobean. well. known Elmira townsman, died suddenly Tuesday morning after an illness of only a few days.

      His death severe shock not only to his family but to friends and acquaintances. He was born at Paisley, July 8 1876. He lived in Kincardine and Listowel, and about seventeen years ago with his family moved to Elmira where he took charge of the finishing department In the Elmira furniture, factory, During the early last week, he suffered from an attack of septic poisoning. His condition took a serious aspect on Saturday. He became unconscious on Monday and died on Tuesday morning.

      He was member of local Masonic and Oddfellows lodges and these two organisations will have charge of the funeral. The date is not definitely set, but it is expected to be either on Thursday or Friday afternoon.

      He leaves to mourn his loss his widow and one daughter Leanore: two brothers, William and Robert Cobean. Kincardine: three sisters, Mrs. William Cairns, and Mrs. Charles Haine, Kincardine, 884 Mrs. Fred Spaw, Port Arthur.
