  Trustee's death is mourned by all John Black brought to the Waterloo County separate school board a wide ranging background in business, engineering, public service, and education. This background plus a deep conviction of the value and need of Catholic education, was his contribution as a trustee on our school board. He frequently challenged both the theory, and the practice espoused by the schools in an effort to find a better way. John Black died on Tuesday, January 21, 1975, only seven weeks after having been re-elected as trustee for the third consecutive time. We extend to his wife, Peggy, and his four daughters and two sons our deepest condo- lences and our thanks for sharing him with us these past six years.
