    • ARNOLD, (Young) Betty-Died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday October 21, 2006 at Grand River Hospital, K-W Health Centre, Kitchener. Betty resided in New Hamburg and was born 76 years ago in Sudbury. She was the daughter of the late David and Georgina (Dumond) Young. Beloved wife of Wilfred (Bluff) Arnold. Dear mother of Bryan James and wife Faye of Moncton, New Brunswick and Debbie Armstrong and husband Leslie of New Hamburg. Sadly missed by her grandson Mark McNeelands and his friend Dawn Seitz of New Hamburg and her great-granddaughters, Julia and Kaitlin Seitz of New Hamburg and Renee McCormick of Kitchener. Also remembered by sister-in-law Laura Young of Sudbury, brother-in-law Bud Walters of Hamilton and a number of nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her 1st husband Albert James; grandson Bradley Brown McNeelands; brothers, Joseph, Percy, Lloyd, Orville and sisters, Lila, Aileen and husband Stephen Martin, Thelma and husband Cleo Lafortune, Olive and husband William Bernhardt, Marjorie and husband Art Heywood and Irene Walters. Betty was a member of St. George's Anglican Church, New Hamburg. Betty retired from the New Hamburg Post Office in 1990. Family and friends call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg Monday October 23, 2006. The funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at 1 p.m. at St. George's Anglican Church with Rev. France Ouimet-Wilson officiating. Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to St. George's Anglican Church or the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre.
