  Ezra S. Shantz, "was born August 7th, 1858. On March 15th, 1888, he was married to Lydia Ann, daughter of Levi and Hester (Snyder) Stauffer. She was born December 14th, 1862. They resided near Haysville, Ontario, where he was engaged in farming until his death which took place May 10th, 1895, leaving a family of four children" Eby, Ezra E. (1895).
