  Aston, Roland; Passed away peacefully at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Friday, January 12, 2007 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Reed) for 66 years. Loving father of Karen Aston and her husband Terence McDougall of Ottawa and Christopher Aston and his partner Jane Adams of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Laura Aston McDougall and Madeleine Aston McDougall. Predeceased by his parents Roland and Mary Aston, brothers Harold and Raymond Aston and his sisters Frances Stegensek and Mildred Fabiano. Friends and relatives are welcome to join the Aston family from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2007 followed by a celebration of Roland's life at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Henry Walser Funeral Home (507 Frederick St. Kitchener 519-749-8467). Reception to follow at the funeral home. Memorial donations to the K-W Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available by calling the funeral home).
