  Harvey H. Shantz A resident of this district for many years, Harvey H. Shantz, 65, died at his home on the Elmira Highway this morning. The deceased, the oldest son of the late Tilman S. Shantz, was born on the Shantz homestead on the Elmira highway. He was a member of the Evangelical church, St. Jacobs. Surviving are his widow, the former Sarah Weber, two sons, Earl and Lorne, one daughter Ella, six brothers, Alvin H., Alfred E., Urias A., angus M., Walter W., and Ezra E., two sisters Elsie L., and Mrs. Jacob F. Kercher. One daughter predeceased him in infancy. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the late residence, two and a half miles north of Waterloo, on the Elmira highway, to St. Jacobs Evangelical church with interment in the St. Jacobs' cemetery.
