  Mrs. R. K. Cowan AYR - Mary McLean Cowan, 81, Ayr, widow of the late R.K. Cowan, died yesterday in Toronto after a serious illness of a month. She had been in ill health previously for two years. She was born in Glencoe, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allan McLean. She was a member of Knox United Church, Ayr and many church groups. She had been a Sunday school teacher, (20) years. Surviving are two sons, Allan of Dresden, and Dr. George of Hespeler; a daughter, Mrs. R.A. (Mary) Earle, Toronto, and a brother, John A. McLean of Gull Lake, Sask. The body is at the T. Little and Son Funeral Home, Galt, where the funeral will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in Mount View Cemetery, Galt, Rev. J.W. Currie and rev. W.D. Goodger of Ayr will officiate Kitchener-Waterloo Record 7 Apr 1953
