- Florence Elizabeth Hayward
Florence Elizabeth Hayward died peacefully at Alexandria, Ont. on September 16, 1993. Born in England in 1898, she came to Canada at an early age. She attended Ayr Public School, graduated from the Montreal Founding and Baby Hospital, with continued care for children in Toronto and Montreal. She leaves many friends who remember her for kindness and humour. Burial took place at the Ayr Cemetery on September 23rd, conducted by Major R. John Foley, of the Salvation Army.
