  Passing of Mrs. Henry Wolfe The death occurred on Sunday at Wingham Hospital of Mrs. Henry Wolfe of Ayr, in her 81st year. Her passing came after a series of illnesses, commencing on June 1st. Taken ill June 1st Mr. and Mrs. Wolfe went to Teeswater on Sunday, June 1st, to visit their daughter, Mrs. Kenneth MacDonald, and Mr. MacDonald. Mrs. Wolfe became ill during the evening and a physician, Dr. Cox of Teeswater, was called. Underwent Surgery It was decided to remove Mrs. Wolfe to Wingham Hospital on Monday, where she underwent gall bladder surgery on Tuesday. Just as she was about to leave the hospital, after three weeks, she was stricken with a coronary attack which confined her to the hospital for another three weeks. Convalescing at Daughter's When Next Attack Came She then went to the home of her daughter, Mrs. MacDonald, where she was convalescing nicely until Wednesday of last week when trouble developed from another source and she was confronted with another and final visit to the hospital, passing away Sunday. Last Member of Family of Twelve Born in the Blair district, Mrs. Wolfe, whose maiden name was Agnes Little, was a daughter of the late John Little and Elizabeth Hudson. She was the last remaining member of a family of twelve and had resided, with her husband, in Ayr and district for a period of 55 years. Valued Member of Church and Other Organisations Of a genial and kindly disposition, Mrs. Wolfe was a valued member of Knox United Church, the Woman's Missionary Society and the Woman's Association. She was ,also a member of the Women's Institute for a lengthy period. The Survivors Surviving, besides her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth MacDonald (Hazel) of Teeswater, and Mrs. Stewart Jaques (Alice) of Woodstock, and four grandsons. A third daughter, Mrs. James Rae (Mabel) of Brantford, passed away 13 years ago. The Funeral The funeral took place from Knox United Church, Ayr, this (Wednesday) afternoon at 2.30 o'clock to the Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News Aug 21 1958 pg 12
