- Brubaker, Luella (nee Hertel) Peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on Monday June 9, 2003 age 88 years.Dear Mother of Bruce and his wife Judith of Kitchener, David and his wife Dorothy and Peter and his wife Iona, all of Waterloo. She is lovingly remembered by six grandchildren, Sonja and her husband Karl Friedrich, Julianne and her husband Cameron Leith, David Brubaker Jr. and his wife Elizabeth, Lisa and her husband Roberto Salazar, Paul Brubaker and his wife Abby and Wendy Brubaker, seven Great-grandchildren, Cory Matos-Friedrich, Taylor Leith, Nathan Brubaker, Jacob Brubaker, Gabriela Salazar, Daniel Salazar, Danielle Brubaker and Sarah Brubaker.Predeceased by her husband Cleason (Pete) (1996), her parents and four brothers. Cremation has taken place.A memorial service for relatives and friends will be held on Friday, June 13, 2003 at 11 am in the chapel of the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener, with Rev. Judy Harris officiating.As expressions of sympathy donations to Raise Home Support for the Elderly or CNIB (Canadian National Institute for the Blind) would be appreciated by the family and may be made by calling the Henry Walser Funeral Home at 749-8467.Special thanks to the nursing staff on 3rd and 6th floor St. Mary's Hospital.
